Hi Marc, It appears that the US's position has changed by calling Gilo a "settlement" as opposed to a "neighbourhood" and whatever the explaination, it will ratchet up the pressure on Israel. It is consistent with the aim to make Judea & Samaria d...

Micah, Israel has been attacked 5 times (by external forces) and sometimes having Judea and Samaria as a buffer was beneficial to their survival. Maybe people would appreciate a short history lesson. Many have no idea there never, ever was an inde...

Open Doors asks Christians to Sign Religious Freedom Petition

This is a crucial year in the fight to preserve religious freedom worldwide. The Defamation of Religions Resolution seeks to criminalize words or actions as attacks against a particular religion, namely Islam. As incredible as it sounds, passing this resolution could allow a Christian to be persecuted under UN approval. We need you to voice your protest of this resolution by signing the petition below.… Continue

Economic Justice?

The media tries helping the administration out by signaling an end to the recession as in this report; "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. economy grew in the third quarter for the first time in more than a year as government stimulus helped lift consumer spending and home building, fueling an unexpectedly strong advance.

Signaling the end of the worst recession in 70 years, the Commerce Department on Thursday said the economy expanded at an annual rate of 3.5 percent in the July-September peri

Darfur Genocide Chief Now Promoted to New Region

Sudan's central government appointed Ahmed Haroun, wanted by the International Criminal Court for orchestrating the genocide in Darfur, to run the region of Kordofan, which has many markings to point to it being the next Darfur.

If the ICC’s prosecutor is correct, Haroun was elemental in the deployment of the infamous janjaweed militias to scorch and burn Darfur. They probably want him to bring his "good work" to this new region.

Christians Attacked and Killed in Pakistan

“Karachi: April 22, 2009. (PCP) The Talibanization of Karachi city begins with attack of armed Taliban on a Christian colony. The attack was well organized and heavy firearms were used by hundreds of Taliban to threaten unarmed Christian elders, women and children. In that article the Republicans call Mr. Obama's behavior hypocrisy which is ironic considering the hit the Republicans are taking for infidelity. Not to mention it sounds like McCain and Clan don't think Obama's rattling his saber loud enough over Iran and I can't help to wonder...didn't we talk tough and act stupid enough over the last 8 years, and now the GOP wants to talk louder...why so eager for war?

Hi Marc,
I have had little time to be on line but I did want to assure you that in my "clarification of my involvement with Matthew 25 post" of a week or so ago I did not intend to question your motives or carachter. I was making a generic statement that I intended as a response to three or four emails I had received on my involvement with Matthew 25. Three were critical one positive.

At any rate, I responded one of those emails with my personal views on the abortion issue in this election. I'd like t send you a copy but haven't figured out how I can do that without posting it on the site. If you will send me your email address (use vandermp@petervandermeulen.com please) I would like to send you a copy of it.

Peace,
