i am considering looking up other resources for language learning. as for fundraisers, sure joining forces would be wise. i havent given it much thought yet. any suggstions as to how to get quick easy money? (other than the lottery). the one idea i have come up with is to get people to pay me to cut my dreads off. there are lots who would pay, too. my dad promised me $50 if i cut them. maybe you can shave your head too. that would be funny.

the dreads were great at first, they have slowly come untwisted and frizzy. its probably because i am too lazy to take care of them. i am supposed to wax and twist them every morning. but in the morning, i am not capable of doing a whole lot. but i still love them they are amazing.
i went through most of that program and i am slighly disppointed. it seems as though it does not give the best info it could. eg how important is it to know how to say "ankle" in Chichewa? there are some applicable words and phrases, but i think that ipod spanish cd thing was better... maybe i am just cynical.

hey steph i am good. as you probably know, i now have dreads, which are not looking very good right now. very frizzy. but anyway not much else is new.
i hear you are slightly busy with school, work, y2y, etc. i think my mom actually used the word "swamped". that is brutal. and not good.

Pressures

Hey all. I know I haven't been blogging very well lately but I just felt the need to blog, not about a certain topic that we were given necessarily but just because I wanted to. Lately I have been feeling a lot of pressure about bringing in the funds for both of my mission trips coming up this summer, the first one is actually in three months and that seems scary, since I only have $94 in my account...I have more for my mission trip to Malawi Africa but I'm just scared you know? I have been maki… Continue

Simpleness of Christ following

"Following Jesus is simple, but not easy. Love until it hurts, and then love more" -Mother Theresa

When you really think about it, following Jesus is simple, but it's easier said then done most of the time, which is why it's not easy. When I think about following Jesus and looking for examples in the Bible about things like that I think about Paul, he suffered for his faith tremendously. That was not an easy life he lead but he did it all the same. I really admire that about him. Mother Theresa… Continue
