The Micah Challenge in the US has been very busy lately. You can read about our activites at the UN, our letter to the presidential hopefuls, and the pastoral letter from the global south. Peace in troubled times--Inspiring Speaker TONIGHT

Last year I went to hear Bishop Thomas Gumbleton speak about peacemaking from a Christian perspective and I was floored. I mean, I always knew I cared about peace and was frustrated with war, but what he shared truly convicted me that war is one of the most challenging injustices of our time!!

Yesterday

On December 1st I tabled and attended a World AIDS day event in Holland, Mi organized by the wonderful folks at Engedi Church (www.engedichurch.com). It was held at the Park Theater (a really cool venue) and consisted of a Movie and a benefit concert with short informational films and speaking sandwiching it all.
